Honeybees & Monarchs

Monarchs may soon be listed under the Endangered Species Act. Why are monarchs in danger? Mostly because of one key factor: the decline in milkweed plants. Monarchs lay their eggs exclusively on milkweed, and milkweed is the only food monarch larvae can eat!

Solution: Establish and protect monarch habitats that contain milkweed plants.
