Mix 282 - Native Array Grass Mix Dry soils

This Native Array Grass Mix was made for Dry soils for Region 5 and can be planted within the solar arrays including under the panels. Native planting have become popular because of there ecological benefit as well as the ability to lower maintenance compared to zero turn mowing the whole site every 2-3 weeks.  This mix is grass only and allow for the use of selective herbicide applications post establishment and allows for more intense mowing regimes if so desired than pollinator mixes .  This mix will score well on a state's solar scorecard.  For utility scale solar with several hundred or thousands of acres utilize this mix for budgeting purposes but call or email us for a custom blend that better suits your site and species availability.  Planting Rate: 8.00 - 10.00 lbs. per acre
